How to configure your email client for Gmail
If you use a program such as Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc you will need to reconfigure that program once the transition to Gmail is complete. There are 3 steps to set this up correctly.
It is highly recommended that you use the IMAP Protocol (instead of POP) when configuring your client.
Step 1) Log into your E-Portfolio and change your password
Step 2) Configure your Wesleyan Gmail account to allow IMAP/POP – click for a video tutorial
Step 3) Configure you email program
