How to configure mobile devices
Configuring a mobile device such as a Blackberry or iPhone is very similar to configuring a regular email program. The first two steps are exactly the same.
1) Log into your portfolio and reset your password so your Wesleyan and Gmail password are the same. If you have already done this to configure an email program then you don’t have to do it again.
2) Log into your Wesleyan Gmail account and enable IMAP. Click here for a video on how to do this. Mobile devices work better using this protocol rather than POP.
3) Follow the instructions below to configure
It is recommended when using Google Apps on a Blackberry to download Google’s Blackberry mail program. It is much more reliable than configuring the built in mail program on the Blackberry. To download and install the program see http://www.google.com/mobile/blackberry/mail.html
